Gravita India has announced the completion of the voluntary dissolution of its subsidiary, Recyclers South Africa (PTY) Ltd., which is part of Gravita Netherlands B.V. The company stated that this subsidiary was not involved in any business activities, and as a result, its dissolution is not expected to have any material financial impact on Gravita India's financial statements.
The dissolution process was concluded on 14th April 2026, as per the company's communication to the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE). The subsidiary's contribution to Gravita India's total income for the last financial year was nil, and its contribution to the net worth was ₹1.03 lakh, representing 0.00%.
The company clarified that the dissolution of Recyclers South Africa (PTY) Ltd. did not involve any sale to third parties, and consequently, no consideration was received. Furthermore, there were no agreements for sale, and the transaction did not involve any related party transactions or fall within the scope of the Scheme of Arrangement.
Gravita India has reiterated that the dissolution of the subsidiary aligns with its strategic decision to streamline operations and focus on core business areas.
