Exhibition on Water, Waste and Biodiversity Management
Bengaluru: ITC Limited under its social Investment arm “ITC Mission Sunehra Kal - Water Stewardship Programme”, in collaboration with Biome Environmental Trust & MYRADA and in association with with RDWSD, Bengaluru Urban Zilla Panchayat and CURDS Organized a “ Workshop on Responsibilities, Repair and maintenance of JJM implementations to Watermen” along with an “Exhibition on Water, Waste & Biodiversity” at Yelahanka Taluk Panchayat on 12th March.
The stakeholder workshop was inaugurated by Mrs. Usha, DPM, JJM, Yelahanka, Mr. Somashekar, Taluk Planning Officer & Mr. Shivananda R S from Biome .

The stakeholder workshop was inaugurated by Mrs. Usha, DPM, JJM, Yelahanka, Mr. Somashekar, Taluk Planning Officer & Mr. Shivananda R S from Biome .
An exhibition was organized to display models, posters and booklets on various sustainable water management practices. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Purushottam, AEE, RDWSD, Yelahanka and Mrs. Usha, DPM, JJM, Yelahanka. Ms. Priyanka, from ITC Limited was also present during the program.
Exhibition stalls were put up by Biome Environmental Trust, Myrada, WASH and Jal Jeevan Mission - Bangalore Urban. Multi Village Water supply scheme of JJM model, Models of Integrating shallow aquifer system to Devanahalli water supply, RWH harvesting working model various displays on open wells rejuvenated in Hunasamaranahalli, Bangalore water Balance, Million recharge wells for Bengaluru campaign etc water displayed by Biome. Myrada exhibited various works done in watershed management & Wash on various interventions done in the schools, Anganwadis and its impact. Rainwater Harvesting filter models were displayed for demonstration. Kannada Booklets on What is an open well, Bangalore and its lakes, Recharge Well Primer, Bore Well Primer, RWH Non Drinking water and RWH Drinking water were distributed to all the visitors.
