The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will release the second merit list for Class 1 admissions today, April 16, 2026. This list is for schools where some seats are still vacant after the first round.
Parents who applied for their children can check the result on the official KVS admission website https://kvsangathan.nic.in or the website of the allotted school. If seats are still left after this round, KVS will release a third merit list on April 21, 2026.
What to do after selection
If your child's name appears in the list, you need to visit the allotted school and complete the admission process. Carry all required original documents for verification to confirm the seat.

- Passport-size photos
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL, if applicable)
- Service certificate (for government employees, if applicable)
- Offline registration details
If enough applications are not received under reserved categories like RTE, SC, ST, or OBC-NCL, KVS will open offline admissions again.
