Kathy's Beverages secures Rs 6 Crore pre-series A funding

Kathy's Beverages Pvt Ltd, the company behind bubble tea and beverage brand Bobakat, has raised Rs 6 crore (approximately $638,000) in a Pre-Series A funding round.

The fresh capital will be deployed across product innovation, team expansion, marketing, and an accelerated retail rollout across the country

Founded in 2024 by Dr Rupali Ambegaonkar and Sannjeev Rao, the brand has served over 10 lakh consumers, is recording double-digit year-on-year growth, and is currently valued at Rs 43 crore.

Wingreens acquires Safe Harvest, raises Series D round

Wingreens has announced the 100% acquisition of Safe Harvest through a share swap transaction. This announcement comes alongside the successful closure of its Series D funding round, led by noted investor Ashish Kacholia with participation from Alchemy Fund.

The newly raised Series D capital will support product portfolio expansion, distribution growth, supply chain integration, and continued investments in innovation and farmer partnerships.

Lavella raises seed fund

Lavella, a sustainable detergent startup, has raised seed funding in a round led by Sifat Khurana, Founder and CBO of Innovist, with participation from early-stage investors including Atul Rajani and Deeksha Rajani, co-founders of The Be Life, and Sidhant Keshwani, Founder and CEO of Libas, among others.

The funding will be used to scale its presence in the sustainable home care market, with planned investments in research and development, lab testing and certifications, logistics, and market expansion.

Founded by six international students from India, Canada, Colombia, Italy, Kazakhstan, and Germany,

currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at Tetr College of Business, Lavella is developing a detergent sheet format to make laundry care more sustainable and convenient.

Sindhuja Microcredit raises $5 million in pre-series D funding round

Noida-headquartered Sindhuja Microcredit, a microfinance institution focused on the rural sector, has raised $5 million (about Rs 47 crore) in a pre-Series D funding round from existing investors Abler Nordic, GAWA Capital, and Oikocredit.

The company said the fresh capital will be used to strengthen its balance sheet, accelerate business expansion, and deepen access to responsible credit for underserved communities.

Founded by Abhisheka Kumar and Malkit Singh Didyala to serve rural borrowers, Sindhuja Microcredit says it has, over the past eight years, extended microloans to more than 500,000 self-employed women and micro-entrepreneurs across 12 states in India.
