In an interview with DW, Ron Prosor, Israel’s Ambassador to Germany, said there is a growing “lack of empathy” toward Israel despite ongoing security threats. Prosor argued that Israel faces “constant demonization and delegitimization” even as the country deals with attacks and regional conflicts.
The ambassador defended Israel’s military actions, saying conflicts involving Iran and Lebanon could ultimately weaken terror networks and reshape the Middle East’s security landscape. He also stressed that Israeli diplomats operate under heightened security and that Israel has faced threats since its founding. 

Prosor’s remarks come as Israel continues to face international criticism over its military operations in Gaza and tensions with regional actors. He said stronger global understanding of Israel’s security concerns is necessary while the country confronts ongoing threats from militant groups and hostile states.
