PAKISTAN vs ZIMBABWE 1ST ODI 2020: Brendan Taylor's century could not save Zimbabwe from defeat in the first ODI match played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Friday. Pakistan won this match by 26 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series. Pakistan scored 281 for the loss of eight wickets in 50 overs on the basis of half-century innings of Harris Sohail and Imam-ul-Haq.
Sohail scored 71 off 82 balls. He also hit six fours and two sixes. The Imam played a slow innings. He took 75 balls and hit six fours to score 58 runs. Chasing a target of 282 runs, Zimbabwe were all out for 255 runs in 49.4 overs.

Taylor hit 112 runs, facing 117 balls. Taylor hit 11 fours and three sixes in his innings. Apart from him, Wesley Madhvere scored 55 runs. Wesley hit seven fours in an innings of 61 balls. Apart from these two, Craig Irvine scored 41 runs but the team's lower order completely failed which turned Taylor's century.
Shaheen Shah Afridi took five wickets for Pakistan. Wahab Riaz took four and Imad Wasim took one wicket.
