The Canon EOS M50 packs a 24.1-megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor with 10 fps continuous shooting and 4K video recording capability. Thanks to its compact design, Canon says the M50 is a great choice for not just travel photographers but also YouTubers and Vloggers. The camera uses Canon's powerful new DIGIC 8 image processor that helps it capture true-to-life images and cinematic 4K video. According to Canon, the DIGIC 8 processor supports a wide range of improvements in autofocus, Auto Lighting Optimiser, Digital Lens Optimiser, and Highlight Tone Priority. In addition to 4K video, the EOS M50 can also capture Full HD videos at 120 frames per second. Some of the other key features of the camera include Dual Pixel CMOS AF for fast and precise tracking, a centrally mounted electronic viewfinder, 7.5cm Vari-Angle touchscreen with Touch and Drag AF, and support for the new CR3 14-bit RAW file format. The camera is also compatible with over 80 EF and EF-S interchangeable lens via the Mount Adapter EF-EOS M.
Sharing images captured with the Canon EOS M50 is pretty simple thanks to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support. You can integrate the EOS M50 with your Android or iOS device using the free Canon Camera Connect app. Once your device is connected, you will be able to use it to wake up the camera, perform remote triggering, and access the remote Live View feature for shooting and transferring images.
