Punjab Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal today extended heartfelt greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr while attending events at Lehragaga, Ballaran, and Kotra Lehal.
On this occasion, he shared the joy of Eid with the local residents and appealed to further strengthen the spirit of brotherhood in society.
Addressing the gatherings, the Cabinet Minister said that the land of Punjab symbolizes the unity of diverse religions and cultures. He emphasized that all our festivals are shared and inspire us to live together with love, cooperation, and harmony. The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr also teaches us the values of brotherhood, patience, and gratitude.
He further stated that on such sacred occasions, we should recognize our social responsibilities, extend help to the needy, and strengthen mutual relationships. The Cabinet Minister urged people to take a pledge on this holy day to further promote peace, brotherhood, and unity, and to work collectively towards advancing Punjab on the path of progress and prosperity.
On this occasion, Gaurav Goyal, son of Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal, along with leaders and members of the Muslim community, various office-bearers, village panchs and sarpanchs, prominent personalities of the area, and social and religious leaders, were present.
