Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah today visited Border Outpost in Makwal Sector, and met the Jawans of Border Security Force. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), in a press release, said that the Cold Wave and Cold Day conditions over Northwest and Central India are likely to abate gradually from tomorrow, January 29. It also read that a Wet Spell over Northwest, East & Northeast India is expected during February 2-4.

The IMD observed that chilly conditions prevailed in many parts over East & adjoining West Uttar Pradesh.
