Reach Allure Secure with 5-inch display and fingerprint sensor launched for Rs 4,499

The Indian handset maker, Reach, best known for its pocket-friendly smartphones has launched a new device today dubbed Reach Allure Secure. This device has been launched exclusively on Snapdeal ahead of Diwali as part of the Allure series from the brand. In the past, the brand has launched several smartphones, all of them priced around Rs 5,000. The last launch from the brand, Reach Allure Speed 4G was priced at Rs 4,299 and is one of the cheapest offerings with support for 4G VoLTE in the entry-level segment.
The all new Reach Allure Secure is being promoted as the cheapest 4G LTE enabled smartphone with a fingerprint scanner, which is mounted on the rear panel. The 5-inch display on the front comes with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It runs the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and if past handsets are any indication, it will run close to stock iteration of the same with visual changes. The performance side of things is taken care of by a quad-core processor of unknown make mated to 1GB RAM.
The onboard storage on this handset is 16GB, which can be further expanded using a microSD card. For imaging, the handset gets 8-megapixel sensors, one each on the front and rear panel, both accompanied by LED flash. The handset sips power from a 2,500mAh battery.
As mentioned earlier, the Reach Allure Secure has been launched exclusively on ShopClues and can be picked up at a competitive price of Rs 4,499. As of now, device has been listed only in black hue on the web portal but it does come in a Gold colour variant as well.
The handset has already gone on sale starting today and the brand is offering a discount of Rs 100 to first 500 buyers, bringing the effective price down to Rs 4,399.
