Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates Teamed Up To Find Corona Vaccine
Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg and Microsoft inventor Bill Gates teamed up for the treatment of coronavirus. They have given 25 million dollars to speed up the treatment procedure. The Gates Foundation organized the effort, called the "COVID-19 Therapeutics Accelerator" with a $50 million gift last month. Now both are colliding to find the treatment of corona.
While doing this, Mark said, “Priscilla and I are committing $25 million to accelerate the development of treatments for COVID-19. We’re partnering with the Gates Foundation and others to quickly evaluate the most promising existing drugs to see which ones might be effective at preventing and treating the coronavirus. Since these drugs have already gone through clinical safety trials, if they’re effective, it will be much faster to make them available than it will be to develop and test a new vaccine — hopefully months rather than a year or more. I’m looking forward to seeing what the Therapeutics Accelerator discovers. More soon.”
Also Bill gates said,” Thank you, Priscilla and Mark. This is an important step in figuring out which approaches are the most promising to treat the disease. I'm grateful for the support of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and our other partners.”
We hope these initiatives from Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates will find the vaccine for this novel coronavirus. This outbreak has taken more than 20 thousand people on the earth and is still going on very strongly. However, China has freed up from the virus and they have broken the lockdown.
