Introducing BMW's upcoming sports car Z4 M40i
The images of the BMW's upcoming two seat sports car, the Z4 M40i, have been spotted online, and in June a series of patent images revealed that the car's styling also displayed the car's swept back highlights, flat rear lights and wide grilles, similar to the 2017 Z4 concept. The M40i is anticipated to be the range topping Z4 model, that will use a turbocharged 3.0 litre six cylinder unit shared with the M240i, producing 355hp.
BMW has confirmed that the Z4 will be revealed at Pebble beach in August before its specifications are introduced at the Paris Motor show in September. The new Z4 will be a choice of BMW's latest turbo charged petrol engines and the engines will come with standard rear wheel drive and a ZF eight speed automatic gearbox. The Z4 share parts with the upcoming Toyota Supra, following Toyota and BMW's decision to co develop a new sports car platform. BMW 's the previous gen Z4 had its sale in India till the beginning of this year and there is no word so far, on whether the all new model will come to our market.
