As Samantha Ruth Prabhu turned 38 on Monday, fans flooded social media with heartfelt birthday wishes. But in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, a man named Tenali Sandeep chose to honour her in a more extraordinary way-by building a temple dedicated to her.
Sandeep, who hails from Alapadu village, has been a long-time admirer of Samantha, particularly touched by her humanitarian work. For the past three years, he has made it a personal tradition to celebrate her birthday by feeding orphaned children and cutting a cake in her name. This year, he took it further by constructing a shrine to mark the special occasion.

A video circulating on social media captures a glimpse of the unique tribute-a temple adorned with two statues of Samantha Ruth Prabhu, one larger than the other, placed prominently at the centre. The space was festively decorated with vibrant flowers and colourful streamers in honour of her birthday. As part of the celebration, Tenali Sandeep, the devoted fan behind the gesture, cut a birthday cake surrounded by children. He also organised a special lunch for them at the temple, turning the occasion into a heartfelt celebration of both fandom and charity.
