The Zone-7 LCB arrested two notorious gangsters involved in a brutal daylight murder in Udaipur, ending a high-stakes manhunt spanning multiple states.

The accused, Naimuddin alias Naeem Shaikh and Kundansinh Kushwaha, key members of the Naeem Thokar Gang, were apprehended from a hospital in Sarkhej. Both carried a reward of Rs 10,000 each and had been absconding after a violent gang war.

The long-standing rivalry between the Javed Dantna Gang and the Naeem Thokar Gang escalated on April 7, when members of both groups clashed openly. The confrontation was reportedly triggered after threats were issued by Javed's gang to Joeb alias Akku, a member of the rival faction.

Naeem, along with five associates, allegedly stabbed Sahil Arif Khan, a member of Javed's gang, to death. A case was registered, and four accused were soon arrested, but Naeem and Kundansinh fled.

DCP Zone-7 Shivam Verma said, "Based on specific intelligence, our team successfully apprehended them and handed them over to the Rajasthan Police."

According to police, the accused initially fled to Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra to evade arrest. However, a crucial tip-off led the LCB team to track their movement to Ahmedabad.

Investigations revealed that Naeem had previously visited the Sarkhej hospital two years ago during his mother's treatment. After sustaining injuries during the Udaipur attack, he returned to the same hospital along with his accomplice for medical care.
