Actor Dia Mirza, on Monday, described playing Kamalpreet Dhanoa in Operation Safed Sagar: The Untold Story of the Kargil War as a "privilege of a lifetime".
The actor shared photographs with co-star Jimmy Sheirgill, who plays Wing Commander BS "Tony" Dhanoa, as well as the real-life Dhanoa family on her Instagram handle, paying tribute to Kamalpreet in the caption with the words, "Thank you Kamal Ma'am for being who you are. I will carry you in my heart forever." She also praised Tony Dhanoa and Sheirgill, saying she could not imagine anyone else playing the decorated officer.
