Ahmedabad: A shocking incident has come to light from Bopal, where a man died after falling from the fourth floor of a residential building while allegedly trying to flee from police.
The deceased has been identified as Mahavir Singh. According to information received, Mahavir had an argument with his neighbour, Murat Solanki. What began as a verbal dispute soon escalated, causing concern among local residents.
As the situation became tense, nearby residents informed the police. A PCR van reached the spot after receiving information about the altercation. However, upon noticing the police, Mahavir attempted to escape.
While trying to avoid being caught, he ran towards the fourth floor of Akshar Luxury Flats in Bopal. During the attempt, he lost his footing and fell from the building. The fall caused severe head and body injuries, and he died on the spot.
Police have registered a case of accidental death and launched an investigation into the incident.
According to police sources, Mahavir Singh worked in the spa. Officials also stated that five to six criminal cases had been registered against him in the past, and his name was included in the law-offender list.
