Thor, aka, Chris Hemsworth says honesty is the cornerstone of his 16-year marriage to model Elsa Pataky. The couple married in Australia in December 2010, months after being introduced by his talent agent, William Ward.
Over a decade later, Hemsworth believes candid feedback has kept their relationship strong.
"There's an honesty, the north star of truth, that you're going to get with Elsa," Hemsworth told People, adding, "I can show something to a bunch of other people, and they might be like, 'Oh, great work,' but Elsa will tell me if it sucks."
Pataky agreed, adding, "I'll tell him, 'That's actually not funny. It doesn't work.'"
Hemsworth said that kind of "critical sort of assessment" works because they understand each other deeply. "She knows who I am, and we know what each other can do," he said.
