Emphasis was placed on enhancing technical capabilities and improving investigative efficiency.
Officials presented the centre's ongoing initiatives, highlighting the 1930 cyber helpline for swift complaint redressal and immediate intervention to block fraudulent financial transactions. The review also examined faster FIR processing, victim refunds, and deployment of advanced tools including data analytics, digital forensics and real-time intelligence systems.
Infrastructure development and capacity building were also discussed, with stress on upgrading facilities and bolstering manpower through regular training and workshops. Addressing officers, DGP Rao underscored the need for a proactive approach, stronger inter-agency coordination, and real-time information sharing.
