Panic swept through the Paldi area on Wednesday afternoon after a sudden blast ripped through parcels outside a cargo office. The incident prompted a swift security response, with police, fire brigade and bomb detection teams rushing to the scene.
According to police, the explosion occurred outside the ground-floor office of Falcon Travels and Cargo. The blast was powerful enough to damage banners and signboards.
Alarmed residents, fearing a bomb attack, gathered at the site. Preliminary investigations revealed that many parcels had liquid materials, including silicone spray. Initial findings suggest the blast may have been triggered by heat buildup.
