A minor fire broke out at a dosa shop in New Chandkheda on Friday. The incident took place at KB Royal Elm Complex, where kitchen materials of a Kanchipuram dosa outlet caught fire.
According to officials, the space was a shed-like structure built in the margin area of a nearby society, right next to the dosa shop. As soon as the fire was noticed, the fire brigade was alerted.
Two fire tenders rushed to the spot and quickly brought the fire under control, preventing it from spreading to nearby shops and residential areas.
Fortunately, no injuries or loss of life were reported in the incident. Officials said that the fire was contained quickly due to prompt action by the fire team.
Police and fire department officials have started an investigation to find out what triggered the fire.
