GSFC University held its eighth convocation recently, with degrees conferred on 815 students from its schools of technology, science, and management and entrepreneurship.
Padma Bhushan Dr V K Saraswat, former DRDO Director General and NITI Aayog member, presented 17 gold and 15 silver medals, with female students bagging 12 gold medals. University President P K Taneja congratulated the graduates and highlighted the institution's growth from two programmes to 26 programmes serving over 3,400 students. In his address, Saraswat urged graduates to keep learning, innovate and develop scientific temperament while maintaining integrity and character. The event was attended by faculty members, officials, industry representatives, students and parents.
