Taking its 'Green Campus' ethos beyond institute walls, the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN), through Amalthea '26, organised Pravah - a two-day initiative blending environmental action with technology.
Over 80 students participated in a clean-up drive along the Sabarmati riverfront, covering the stretch from Aranya Park to Sant Sarovar Dam and collecting more than 300 kg of waste. The effort - supported by the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (GMC), and the NGO Diving Deep - began with a guided nature walk and concluded with water-themed technical contests and a quiz.
