Hundreds of members of the Jain community came together for Pratikraman at the Jain Sangh in Pankaj Society, Paldi, on Tuesday, marking Samvatsari, the concluding day of the Paryushan festival.
Samvatsari brings the days of fasting, prayer and spiritual reflection during Paryushan to a close, with Jains traditionally seeking forgiveness from one another with the words MicchamiDukkadam, asking that any hurt caused through thought, word or deed be forgiven.
