Ahmedabad: A leopard was spotted near Madhav Homes in the Jhundal-Chandkheda area late Monday night, a day after a leopard was seen in Ghuma, Ahmedabad.
According to local residents, the leopard was seen around 2 am while moving towards Chandkheda. A cafe owner claimed to have clicked a picture of the animal and shared it with the Forest Department.
Earlier, a leopard was spotted inside a society in Ghuma, creating panic among residents of Shela, Ghuma and Bopal. The Forest Department has deployed teams, installed cages and increased monitoring in the affected areas.
Officials are checking whether the Chandkheda sighting is the same leopard seen earlier or a different animal.
