Spread across around 40,000 sq ft, the corporate-style facility was completed in less than two years after its foundation stone was laid by Union Minister and MP C R Paatil in 2024.

Paatil said PM Modi had agreed to inaugurate the office, making it the first district-level BJP office he would open since becoming Prime Minister.

The facility includes an AI-based system, high-speed internet, a large auditorium, a conference hall and separate cabins for office-bearers, officials and visiting leaders.

The BJP's earlier 'Kamalam' office in the city had become inadequate with the expansion of the organisation and an increase in the number of workers. The new location on the highway was chosen to ease traffic concerns.
