With rising demand from industries for talent in artificial intelligence, robotics, automation and semiconductor manufacturing, Gandhinagar-based NAMTECH on Tuesday announced admissions to seven industry-integrated master's programmes in emerging technology sectors.
The two-year programmes include Smart Manufacturing Technology and Management, Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology and Management, Robotics Engineering and Management, Sustainability Engineering and Management, Automotive Technology and Management, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, and Heavy Industry Engineering and Management.
Institute officials said the courses have been designed to bridge the gap between traditional engineering education and the evolving needs of the manufacturing and technology sectors. "India's growth story will be shaped by its ability to build world-class manufacturing capabilities and develop talent that can lead technological transformation. NAMTECH has been established to bridge this critical gap by creating professionals who understand both technology and its application in industry," said Dr Ibrahim Hafeezur Rehman, director general and CEO of NAMTECH.
The institute has received a Letter of Intent for deemed-to-be university status and plans to introduce undergraduate programmes in semiconductor technology, robotics and automation, AI and smart energy. AM
