Nirma University recently hosted the Nirma Cup 2026, an inter-university sports tournament organised by the Institute of Architecture and Planning (IAPNU) under the Students' Welfare Board.
Bringing together 18 universities and over 400 players, the event saw spirited competition across cricket, football, volleyball and basketball. LJ University clinched the cricket title, while Ahmedabad University won in football and women's volleyball. Sankalchand Patel University emerged victorious in men's volleyball, and Nirma University secured the basketball championship, rounding off a high-energy campus sporting event.
