The Department of Public Policy and Administration at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) hosted the "Viksit Bharat 2047 - Creative Policy Challenge", an initiative aimed at encouraging students to critically engage with contemporary governance issues in line with India's long-term developmental vision.
Conceived as an experiential learning platform, the challenge invited students to analyse policy outcomes and unintended consequences, presenting their insights through Canva-based A3 posters that combined infographics, illustrations and concise narratives.
More than 400 students participated, working in groups to address themes such as Artificial Intelligence and Society, Energy and Sustainability, Demographic Transition and Youth, and Liveable and Resilient Cities. Each theme was examined through the lens of governance and socio-economic implications, sparking lively academic debate on India's policy trajectory towards 2047.
