Earlier this week, the Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) observed Antyodaya Diwas, marking the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, at its Gandhinagar campus.
Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Honourable Governor of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, who attended the event, spoke to students on Antyodaya and Integral Humanism, among other topics, and encouraged them to become job creators. During the programme, he also launched three university initiatives: Reliance Online Degree Pathway for Working Professionals, PDEU Centre of Excellence for Climate Action and Clean Energy, and PDEU-Kaynes Semicon B.Tech. programme in VLSI and Semiconductor Engineering. The event was also attended by Meenakshi Lekhi, former Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, Government of India; industry leaders; senior government officials; and members of the Board, faculty, staff, and students.
