Rajkot: A horrific and unbelievable crime has come to light, as parents are being accused of murdering their own son. According to reports, in Rajkot, parents killed their own flesh and blood, their 22-year-old son and not only that, they also tried to pass it off as a suicide.
Thus, the case, which initially appeared to be a suicide, turned out to be a chilling murder case. As per reports, Ram, a resident of Gundala village in Rajkot, was forced to drink acid by his mother and later strangled by his father. The accused have been identified as his father Babubhai and his mother Manishaben.
Ram was found dead on June 30. According to the police investigation, constant tension in the house led Ram to become addicted to alcohol. Furthermore, he was jobless. On the day of the incident, a heated argument broke out between Ram and his parents which ended with Ram being killed by his own parents.
Initially, the parents tried to influence the post-mortem report and fabricate the evidence with the help of local contacts at the hospital to show the death as a suicide. However, the police said the emerging evidence pointed the investigation in a different direction.
Most importantly, the case gained momentum after Ram's wife, who had married him just four months earlier, raised suspicion over his death. Based on her statement and the evidence collected, the police found that the accused in the crime were the victim's own father and mother.
