Ahmedabad is set to host SciKnowFest 2026, a science and mathematics carnival organised by SciKnowTech Education Foundation, on April 12. The carnival will feature over 300 interactive student projects and working models created by participants from Grades 2 to 10.
SciKnowTech Education Foundation was founded by scientist and educationist Dr Megha Bhatt. Designed as a hands-on learning platform, the fest encourages students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations. Rooted in the philosophy, "Exposure leads to Exploration, and Exploration leads to Innovation," the event aims to nurture curiosity, analytical thinking and a scientific mindset among young learners.
The festival will draw participation from cities including Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Surat and Vapi, along with international entries from Muscat, Dubai and Qatar. Children from NGOs, trusts and government schools will also participate.
With an expected footfall of over 3,000 visitors, SciKnowFest 2026 will showcase diverse exhibits ranging from everyday science concepts like nutrition and material properties to engaging activities such as magnetic experiments and interactive games. Visitors can also explore innovative models including Da Vinci Bridge structures, kaleidoscopes, roller coaster physics, forensic science demonstrations, and Lego-based constructions.
The event will provide students with a unique opportunity to present their ideas to educators, professionals and peers, fostering confidence and independent thinking while making learning both engaging and meaningful. AM
