Andhra Pradesh "Polavaram" Will Be The Last Project With National Project Status: Nitin Gadkari

The Center has stated that projects in any state will not be taken up as a national project. Union Water Resources Minister Nitin Gadkari said during Question Hour that the last national project is Polaravaram. Responding to the question of CPM MP Mohammed Salim in the Lok Sabha, AP said that while the AP reorganization bill was introduced in Parliament, the national status was given to polavaram and we are working on it as a national project

The government has decided not to announce any other projects in further as a national project. and this is going to be the last project with national status said Water Resources minister Nitin Gadkari Gadkari said, if any states want to build projects, this proportion will not come under national project status said gadkari. TRS MP Vinod asked the government to take up the issue and consider their state projects also under national status.
