Discover the Firefly-powered generative AI released for Adobe Express for iOS and Android users

Adobe has released a new app for the cloud-based design platform, Adobe Express.

This app extends the Firefly-powered generative AI features of the cloud-based mobile design platform to iOS and Android users which was earlier being used in the desktop.

The new Adobe Express app enables users to create social media posts, website banners, and posters. The members of Creative Cloud members can seamlessly access and modify Illustrator and Photoshop files directly from the mobile application.

Currently, the app has the beta version and is available for users to experiment with. The app showcases Firefly-powered generative AI features like Firefly generative fill, text-to-image and text effects, and simple editing features that will be available to users. The Adobe Express beta also involves premium features such as removing background and erase tools without any subscription fees as the app is in beta.

Adobe Express beta offers 25 credits per month to the users. Later when the mobile app is generally available to the users, the monthly credits received by the users will be included in their subscription tier.

The Adobe Express beta shares the same platform as the desktop version which means that collaborative workflows have been restored enabling the users to work together on the same creative projects either through desktop or mobile.

It is to be noted that Firefly generative AI is designed for secure commercial applications.

Moreover, Adobe's Firefly AI features have been available to people since September 2023. The Adobe Express beta is the first mobile app that involves Firefly-powered generative AI features.
