Kerala Police Gears Up to Combat Illegal Crypto Transactions
Kerala's cyber-investigation division is set to acquire a Rs 45 lakh blockchain-analysis tool developed by an Israeli firm to monitor cryptocurrency transactions and detect illegal activities.
The tool will be installed at the Cyberdome Lab in Kochi by mid-December. This advanced tool will replace the current reliance on open-source resources, offering a panoramic view of transactions for more efficient analysis. It will help identify suspicious transactions, such as those linked to money laundering or terrorism. The tool will also allow investigators to track the flow of virtual assets globally, flagging illicit activities across borders.
