MG Motor India To Showcase 14 Cars at 2020 Auto Expo on February 5
The 2020 Auto Expo is barely a fortnight away from now and the automakers have started announcing their products for the event in Greater Noida. One of the latest entrants in the Indian market, MG Motor has also revealed its product line up for the 2020 Auto Expo. The company, emphasizing future mobility solutions, will showcase a total of 14 cars across all the segments including electric, autonomous and internet cars.
MG Motor India will be a part of the Auto Expo for the very first time and hence, it is planning to preview its global products and future architectures as well. The SAIC Motors-owned British automaker has released an image that showcases the production-ready and concept models that will be on the stage at the 2020 Auto Expo. One of the most prominent names is the SAIC's Roewe Vision-i autonomous concept, which had debuted at the Shanghai Motor Show last year. The concept gives a sneak peek into the cars of the 5G era while being termed as a merger of MPV and SUV, thus giving birth to a new category SPV.
Meanwhile, MG's total focus is on ZS EV, which will be launched on January 27, 2020, in the Indian market. It will also be up for viewers at the Auto Expo. The ZS SUV is the company's first electric vehicle in India and second overall after the Hector SUV.
The ZS EV, identical to the Hector, will be equipped with the latest internet and connected car technologies while being available in a couple of variants: Excite and Exclusive. Being powered by an IP6 rated 44.5kWh battery, it will have a driving range of 340 km on a single charge.
