The felicitation ceremony, held at the World Peace Centre in New Delhi, was attended by Jain monks, representatives of social organisations and a large gathering of devotees who celebrated his efforts to promote peace, harmony and universal brotherhood across the world.

Shraman Sangh Deputy Pravartak Pankaj Muni Ji Maharaj, Varun Muni Ji Maharaj and Rupesh Muni Ji Maharaj honoured Acharya Lokesh with a ceremonial shawl, garland and spiritual literature.

Devotees welcomed him with chants and expressed appreciation for his continued commitment to spreading the message of non-violence and dialogue.

Addressing the gathering, Varun Muni Ji Maharaj said that Acharya Lokesh's peace initiative had become a beacon of hope at a time when the world is facing war, terrorism, and ideological conflicts. He added that by taking the message of peace to the United States Capitol, Acharya Lokesh had enhanced the global prestige of Jainism, Indian culture, and the teachings of Lord Mahavira.

Speaking at the event, Acharya Lokesh said the movement, which began at the World Peace Centre, has now evolved into a global people's campaign. He noted that support from both Republican and Democratic lawmakers in the United States reflected that peace transcends political ideologies.

Acharya Lokesh reaffirmed India's rich legacy of non-violence inspired by Lord Mahavira, Lord Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi, adding that the movement seeks to replace conflict with dialogue and hatred with compassion.

"This honour is not for me; it is a tribute to the philosophy of Lord Mahavira and the rich heritage of Indian culture," he said.

Mahavir International Chairman Hitesh Jain praised Acharya Lokesh for strengthening India's global image through humanitarian work and the promotion of universal values.

During the ceremony, community leaders presented him with a commemorative memento, while Rupesh Muni Ji Maharaj concluded the event with devotional hymns, leaving the gathering inspired by a renewed commitment to world peace.
