Adani Public School Mundra has completed 25 years of operation, commemorating the milestone with a large-scale Silver Jubilee event that brought together students, alumni, parents and faculty members.
The celebration also saw the unveiling of new infrastructure, including an indoor sports complex and a modern auditorium, aimed at strengthening the institution's emphasis on overall student development.
The event was led by Dr Priti Adani, who heads the Adani Foundation. The school was established in 2001, with its development gaining momentum in the aftermath of the Gujarat earthquake, when education became a key pillar for community rebuilding.
Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, said the occasion represents more than an institutional milestone, highlighting its role in nurturing aspirations and shaping future generations. He expressed hope that students would leave with confidence, resilience and a sense of responsibility towards society.
Reflecting on the journey, Dr Priti Adani said the school began with a vision of providing meaningful education to every child. From an initial strength of just over 200 students and a few dozen teachers, the institution has expanded to more than 2,300 students supported by over 100 educators.
The programme featured ceremonial performances by a Bagpiper Band and National Cadet Corps cadets, along with exhibitions showcasing science, technology and robotics projects. Artistic displays and cultural performances were also part of the event, reflecting a focus on creativity and innovation.
The newly inaugurated indoor sports facility includes courts for badminton, pickleball and table tennis, while the auditorium, with a seating capacity of 558, is among the largest in the region.
A key segment of the event involved interaction between Dr Priti Adani and alumni, parents and student achievers, highlighting the institution's continued connection with its community.
Through a wider network of more than 40 schools across India, including Adani Public Schools and Adani Vidya Mandir institutions, the Adani Foundation continues to promote education as a means of expanding opportunities and supporting long-term development.
