Indian Startups Welcome PM Modi's Bharat Innovates 2026 Launch In France

Bharat Express 3 days ago

Indian startups and innovators have welcomed the upcoming launch of Bharat Innovates 2026 in France by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing it as a significant opportunity to showcase India's technological capabilities on a global stage.

The three-day initiative will highlight India's deep-tech, clean energy and healthcare innovation ecosystem. It will also connect emerging enterprises with international investors, policymakers, industry leaders and technology collaborators.

The event coincides with the Prime Minister's participation in the G7 Summit at Evian and the VivaTech technology exhibition in Paris.

Gudlyf Mobility Co-founder and CEO Dr Ajeet Babu PK said the selection was a proud moment, particularly for entrepreneurs from smaller cities. He noted that representing Madurai on a global platform reflected the growing strength of innovation beyond metropolitan centres.

Dr KC Vora, Co-founder of Gudlyf Mobility, said the programme offers exceptional international visibility. He highlighted the company's hydrogen cylinder technology, which is 50 per cent lighter and 50 per cent cheaper than conventional metal cylinders.

Dr KC Vora added that the firm hopes to expand exports globally and engage with the Prime Minister during the event.

Tricog Health Chief Growth Officer Prateek Golecha stated that Bharat Innovates provides worldwide exposure for Indian-developed technology. He said the company's AI-powered healthcare solutions aim to improve access to affordable diagnostics, especially in emerging markets where delayed testing often worsens health outcomes.

Prof Arnab Dutta of UrjanovaC highlighted the organisation's carbon-capture innovation. He explained that the technology captures and converts carbon dioxide using water and draws inspiration from natural biological and geological processes.

Organisers selected 120 startups from nearly 3,000 applicants.

More than 15 premier institutions will participate, presenting India's innovation ecosystem to global stakeholders and strengthening opportunities for international collaboration.
