A major academic and cultural event is being held in Prayagraj, where the annual function at Shri Kashi Prasad Singh Intermediate College in Meja Road has attracted a large turnout and prominent personalities from multiple fields.
CMD and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express News Network, Upendrra Rai, is present as the chief guest at the event, which is currently underway. The programme has begun with enthusiastic participation, with the venue filled with applause and engagement from attendees.
The function features several distinguished guests. These include Vice-Chancellor of Rajarshi Tandon Open University Prof Satyakam, North Central Zone Cultural Centre Director Dr Sudesh Sharma, and Special Secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar Prajapati. Other noted figures from education, literature and public administration are also present.
The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by traditional cultural performances welcoming the guests.
Earlier in the day, CMD Upendrra Rai arrived at Prayagraj Airport. Organisers gave him a formal welcome and honoured him with garlands and a traditional stole.
A strong public response was, however, visible along the route to the venue. A large crowd at the function reflected the turnout.
Other attendees include Bharat Express Group Consulting Editor Anil Rai, Felix Hospital Chairman Dr DK Gupta, and MART representative Asif Azmi. The programme is being coordinated by Ajit Singh, with support from the college administration.
