He said Udham Singh struck a decisive blow against British rule by avenging the victims of the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre through the assassination of Michael O'Dwyer in London.

Shah also highlighted Udham Singh's role in the Ghadar Party, saying he inspired the spirit of India's freedom movement among overseas Indians. He said the revolutionary embraced the gallows with extraordinary courage, determination and patriotism, leaving behind a timeless legacy of sacrifice.
