Bharat Express 2 weeks ago

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Chennai under heavy security on Friday, marking the start of a two-day campaign tour across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala.

Officials will deploy nearly 3,000 police personnel at key locations, implement aerial surveillance, and impose drone restrictions in sensitive zones such as Guindy and Meenambakkam to ensure foolproof arrangements.

They stated that PM Modi will travel by a special aircraft to Chennai before taking a helicopter to Puducherry, where he will participate in a major roadshow supporting National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates.

The procession is expected to cover prominent locations, including Ajanta Signal Junction, Anna Salai, and Anna Thidal, drawing large crowds and energising party cadres ahead of the Assembly elections.

Following the Puducherry engagements, the Prime Minister will return to Chennai in the evening and will stay overnight at a star hotel in Guindy. He will conduct key strategy meetings with senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, review campaign progress, and finalise candidate announcements for Tamil Nadu.

On Saturday, PM Modi will continue the campaign in Kerala, addressing public meetings and interacting with party workers as the NDA seeks to strengthen its presence in the southern states.

Political analysts closely monitor the visit, while party leaders anticipate that the Prime Minister's active involvement will significantly boost electoral prospects in the region.

Across Chennai, the visit reflects meticulous planning, highlighting the scale of security measures and organisational efforts to facilitate smooth public engagements while reinforcing the NDA's campaign momentum in the southern states.
