Former India head coach Rahul Dravid is likely to be honoured with the Col CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award at the BCCI's annual awards ceremony, which will take place in New Delhi on March 15.

India's Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill is also expected to receive a major accolade at the event and may be presented with the Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer (Men).

The ceremony, titled 'NAMAN', will celebrate the accomplishments of several Indian cricket teams. The men's squad that lifted the 2024 T20 World Cup and the side that won the 2025 Champions Trophy will be recognised during the event.

The women's team that secured the 2025 ODI World Cup title, along with the Under-19 World Cup-winning teams in both categories, will also be felicitated.

The lifetime achievement award is expected to acknowledge Dravid's long-standing contribution to Indian cricket.

During his tenure as India's head coach, he guided the team to victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Despite missing out on the T20 World Cup-winning squad, Gill remains a strong contender for the top individual award. His consistent performances across formats have strengthened his case.

The 26-year-old accumulated 983 runs in Test cricket in 2025, including 754 runs in the 2-2 drawn away series against England, maintaining an average above 70.

In One Day Internationals, he registered 490 runs, including 188 runs during India's successful Champions Trophy campaign.

Some members of the Indian women's team who are due to be recognised might not attend the ceremony. This is because of their domestic cricket commitments.

The Senior Women's Inter Zonal One-Day Trophy final is scheduled in Bengaluru on the same day as the awards ceremony. The Women's Under-23 One-Day Trophy Elite pre-quarter-finals in Ranchi are also set to take place on that day.

The Mumbai Cricket Association is expected to be named the best-performing association in domestic cricket. It is likely to receive this recognition for the third year in a row.

Vidarbha cricketers Yash Dubey and Yash Rathod are set to receive the Madhavrao Scindia Award. Dubey finished as the highest wicket-taker, while Rathod emerged as the top run-scorer in the Ranji Trophy Elite Group.

Dubey is also likely to earn the Lala Amarnath Award after being adjudged the best all-rounder of the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy season. Ulhas Gandhe is in line to receive the Best Umpire Award.

In age-group competitions, Shanthanu Singh and Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan will receive the Jagmohan Dalmiya Trophy. They topped the charts in the Under-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy.

Similarly, Nitya J Pandya and Hemchudeshan J will be awarded the MA Chidambaram Trophy. They finished as the highest run-scorers and wicket-takers in the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy.
