Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani on Sunday announced the launch of 'ACE - Adani Centre for Eye Diseases' in partnership with the Adani Foundation and Akhand Jyoti Hospital to provide accessible and affordable eye care services to people in need.
The announcement was made during his visit to Mastichak in Bihar, where he also visited the Gayatri Parivar and praised its social service initiatives.
Taking to X, Gautam Adani posted, "We are joining hands with Adani Foundation and Akhand Jyoti Hospital to launch 'ACE - Adani Centre for Eye Diseases', which will be a major effort to provide accessible and affordable eye care to those in need."
Alongside the healthcare initiative, Gautam Adani also announced the launch of 'ATOM - Adani Training Centre for Ophthalmic Medicine', aimed at preparing a new generation of eye specialists and women healthcare workers.
"At the same time, through "ATOM - Adani Training Centre for Ophthalmic Medicine," we will prepare a new generation of eye specialists and women healthcare workers," he said.
According to Gautam Adani, the initiative aims to expand quality eye care services across the country over the coming years.
"Restoring the light in someone's eyes is not merely treatment… It is the sacred act of bringing back hope, self-confidence, and dignity to their life," the Adani Group Chairman stated.
Gautam Adani said the 'Adani Akhand Jyoti Trust' would continue working with dedication towards humanitarian causes and announced a commitment of more than Rs 700 crore in the coming years to support healthcare-focused service initiatives.
Calling Bihar a land that has historically given new direction and consciousness to the nation, he said the campaign seeks to spread 'new light' across the country through service and commitment.
Dr Priti G Adani also praised the humanitarian work of Akhand Jyoti Hospital and Gayatri Parivar, saying their spirit of selfless service inspired deep respect and renewed motivation.
