If you are planning to get one on loan for yourself, here's how much EMI you'd have to pay.

For this guide, we are considering the top-spec 'TFT DD' variant of the TVS Raider 125, which costs Rs 96,100 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Its on-road Delhi price is Rs 1,12,829, which includes Rs 7,688 as RTO charges, Rs 6,915 as insurance fees, and Rs 2,126 as other charges. For these calculations, we have considered a down payment of Rs 20,000 and a 12 percent interest rate. With all of this, the total loan amount comes down to Rs 92,829. 18 Months

If you opt for an 18-month loan tenure, you'll need to pay Rs 5,661 as EMI (Equated Monthly Instalment). In this scheme, the total interest to be paid will be Rs 9,069 which is significantly less when compared to the other EMI schemes with longer repayment tenures. The total repayment amount for the bike equates to Rs 1,01,898 including interest and the borrowed loan amount.

24 Months

For an even lower EMI, you can choose the 24-month plan. Here, the EMI will be Rs 4,370. But, in this scheme, the total repayment amount goes up to Rs 1,04,880, which is slightly higher. For this scheme, you will have to pay Rs 12,051 as interest.

36 Months

If you choose to take a loan for 36 months, the EMI will be Rs 3,083, including interest. While this might be less than the EMI in the previous tenure, the total repayment amount and the interest significantly increase and amount to Rs 1,10,988 and Rs 18,159 respectively.
