A subtle shade and some design tweaks for the Yamaha's retro-styled scooter
Quick Highlights:
- Gets an updated matte colour scheme
- Updated design
- No mechanical changes expected
The updated 2026 Yamaha Fascino 125 has been spotted at a dealership. The updates include an updated colour scheme and a redesigned rear. This could hint it will be launched soon.
What's New?
The new Yamaha Fascino has separate rear indicators and tail light; currently it has an integrated setup. The tail light is a standalone vertical unit, and the side panels house the rear indicators, and sweep back. This looks quite similar to the internationally-sold Yamaha Grand Filano. However, that one gets LED indicators, which could be reserved for the next update of the Fascino.
In addition to this,, the Yamaha scooter has an updated version of the 'Matte Grey - Spl' paint scheme that's currently available on the Fascino Disc variant. While it still has the black accent panels and model badging, the graphics are new. That said, the front of the scooter is not visible in the photos, and we can expect some design tweaks there as well.
What's Unchanged?
Aside from the aforementioned updates, the scooter is expected to carry its current mechanical specifications. It will continue to be powered by the 125cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 8.2PS and 10.3Nm.
The TFT console on the new scooter is the same, and so is the switchgear. Even the mirrors are the same as the current model and no external fuel filler cap as well.
BikeDekho Says
The fact that the updated scooter has reached a dealership could mean its launch is almost around the corner. We can expect a slight bump in price - for reference, the it's currently priced from Rs 74,910 to Rs 95,200 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
