The baby-GS has been seen testing again, but its India launch timeline remains unclear.

The upcoming BMW F 450 GS has once again been spotted testing on Indian roads, this time revealing the alloy-wheeled variant of the motorcycle.

The middleweight adventure bike is being developed under the long-standing partnership between BMW Motorrad and TVS Motor, and it will be manufactured in India by TVS.

The F 450 GS will be the first motorcycle based on the new twin-cylinder platform jointly developed by BMW and TVS. The production version of the bike was unveiled at the 2025 EICMA show. The bike is powered by a 420cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, which makes 47.6PS and 43Nm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.

In the latest spy shots, the alloy-wheeled variant of the F 450 GS can be seen undergoing road tests. The motorcycle continues to follow BMW's familiar GS design language, and it looks the same as the production bike unveiled earlier.

The BMW F 450 GS was expected to make its India debut at India Bike Week earlier this year. However, the launch was postponed, and BMW Motorrad has not announced a revised timeline for the motorcycle's launch in the country. As for the price, it is expected to cost Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom) and will go up against the Honda NX500, Benelli TRK 502 and other single-cylinder alternatives such as the KTM 390 Adventure and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
