These get a new design
Lower variants remain the same, with the older design
TVS has launched the 2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V top-end variants. The two new variants of the bikes feature a reworked design along with the addition of new features as well. Along with this, the entire Apache line-up gets special 20th anniversary limited editions. Here's everything you need to know:
2025 Apache New Top-End Variants
As part of the 2025 update, TVS has brought in new top-end variants of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Apache RTR 200 4V. Both the bikes get new features and a new LED projector headlight.

The feature updates are a traction control system and a 5-inch TFT console, which is the same as on the Apache RTR 310. The console offers smartphone connectivity via TVS SmartXonnect for turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts and other connected features. Compared to the LCD console on the lower variants, the new TFT display looks a lot more premium. The Apache RTR 160 4V also gets a slip-and-assist clutch, something which the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V already had as standard.

The new headlight setup has given the bike a more aggressive and menacing streetfighter look. We are glad that the brand has finally decided to give the bike a fresh look. While the design of the lower variants still looks good, it has started feeling a bit dated now. The visual updates also include new colours for these bikes. The RTR 200 4V gets Matte Black and Granite Grey, while the RTR 160 4V gets Racing Red, Marine Blue, and Matte Black.

With these changes, TVS has managed to offer a more premium option for those who want something more than what the current lineup has to offer. However, these still have the same engine - the RTR 160 4V is still powered by the same 159.7cc, air and oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 17.55PS and 14.73Nm. The Apache RTR200 4V is powered by a 197.75cc air and oil-cooled, single cylinder engine which produces 20.82PS and 17.25Nm.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and 200 4V's top-end variants are priced as follows:
Model | Price (ex-showroom, Delhi) |
Apache RTR 160 4V Top-End | Rs 1,47,990 |
Apache RTR 200 4V Top-End | Rs 1,59,990 |
Compared to the previous top-end variant with the inverted fork, the new 2025 RTR 160 4V variant is Rs 8,000 more expensive. The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is only Rs 6,000 more expensive than the variant under it. The premium is quite justifiable considering the new features that are offered.
TVS 20th Anniversary Editions
As part of the brand's 20th anniversary of its Apache lineup, a new special edition lineup has been launched. The new lineup includes all the models of the TVS Apache series, with a special black champagne gold livery and dual-tone alloy wheels. This will be a limited edition, and here's a breakdown of the prices:
Model | Price (ex-showroom, Delhi) |
TVS Apache RTR 160 | Rs 1,37,990 |
TVS Apache RTR 180 | Rs 1,39,990 |
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V | Rs 1,50,990 |
TVS Apache RTR 200 4V | Rs 1,62,990 |
TVS Apache RTR 310 | Rs 3,11,000 |
TVS Apache RR 310 | Rs 3,37,000 |
The 20th Anniversary Editions of all the models look quite premium and special. In the Apache RTR 160, RTR 180, the RTR 310, and RR 310, the features remain the same. But in the 160 4V and the 200 4V, the features from the newly launched top-end variants, mentioned above, have been carried forward.

That said, they come at relatively high premiums compared to top-end variants of the respective model. For perspective, the special edition of the RTR 160 is Rs 3,670 more expensive, whereas the special edition of the RTR 180 is Rs 4,970 more expensive. The RTR 160 4V and the RTR 200 4V anniversary editions are Rs 3,000 more expensive. All models from the Apache RTR 160 to the Apache RTR 200 4V also get a USB charging port as standard in this variant.
When comparing the top-end variants of the TVS Apache RR 310 and the TVS Apache RTR 310, the premium is a lot higher. For the RTR 310's anniversary edition, you will have to pay a premium of Rs 26,000 over the BTO variant. Whereas, in the RR 310's case, the premium comes to Rs 42,001 over the top-end variant with the quickshifter (BTO kits not included).
BikeDekho Says
The launch of the 2025 Apache RTR 160 4V and 200 4V top-end variants has been a welcome development. The addition of the new features will elevate the riding experience for a reasonable premium in both bikes. The TFT console will give the riders a more premium experience, while the traction control system will ensure that there is no compromise in terms of safety.

The limited, Anniversary editions of the entire Apache lineup is another interesting development, but one which will be most liked by Apache enthusiasts. The RTR 160 and RTR 180's Anniversary Editions will have a special place in the hearts of enthusiasts whose first taste of performance was a TVS Apache. However, the special editions of the higher capacity models, such as the RTR 310 and RR 310, might not be as well received because of the higher prices. The special editions aren't offering anything extra other than the 20th anniversary stickers and badging, and the dual-tone alloys.
