It has been silently listed on Honda's India website
Quick News Highlights:
Gets a new Pearl Siren Blue colour with fresh graphics
It's based on the top-spec disc brake variant
We expect the bike to launch soon
Honda has quietly added a new Limited Edition version of the Shine 125 to its India website, without any sort of announcement or price reveal. We expect the bike will launch soon, and we will update our story accordingly when we get clarification from the brand - so watch this space.
A Familiar Bike with a Fresher Look
The Honda Shine 125 Limited Edition introduces a Pearl Siren Blue colour, along with new 'Shine' graphics on the sides of the fuel tank that are more stylized than the standard bike. Honda has also given the Limited Edition variant several chrome elements like the front visor, side covers, and exhaust muffler cover. Another visual highlight are the Pyrite Brown alloy wheels, which stand out against the body colour and match the decals.
What Remains Unchanged
It continues with the same E20-petrol and BS6-compliant 123.94cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 10.8PS and 11Nm, paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Features such as the LCD console, idling stop-start system, silent starter, and USB-C charging port are carried forward.
As this Limited Edition is based on the higher variant of the Honda Shine, it gets a 240mm front disc. Other figures such as the 113kg kerb weight, 162mm ground clearance, 791mm seat height, 10.5-litre fuel tank, and 18-inch wheels at both ends are also the same.
Expected Price
Honda hasn't revealed the price of the Limited Edition yet, but it's expected to cost around Rs 1,000-1,500 more than the Disc variant it's based on - which is currently priced at Rs 85,211 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This estimate is based on how the Honda Activa and Honda Activa 125 25 Year Anniversary Editions are priced. And, since the Limited Edition is already listed on the website, its launch is likely to take place very soon.
