How Much Does It Cost?

The Revolt RVX has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 1,29,990 (ex-showroom). In Delhi, thanks to additional state subsidies, it is priced at Rs 94,990 (ex-showroom). After the introductory offer ends, the bike will cost Rs 1,39,990 (ex-showroom). Bookings are now open, and deliveries are expected to begin by the end of July.

Battery And Performance

The Revolt RVX is powered by a 3.24kWh removable battery pack paired with a 5.3kW electric motor producing 50Nm of peak torque. It offers a claimed IDC range of 160km, which is 10km more than the RV400. The battery can be removed and charged at home or the office as well. However, since the battery pack is quite heavy, removing and reinstalling it may not be the most convenient task.

The bike gets four riding modes: Boost, Sport, City and Eco. Top speed varies depending on the selected mode:

• Boost - 90kmph

• Sport - 80kmph

• City - 65kmph

• Eco - 44kmph

One feature that's missing, especially considering the price, is ABS, as the bike only gets a Combined Braking System (CBS).

Underpinnings

The Revolt RVX gets an inverted fork and a monoshock at the rear. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with disc brakes at both ends, assisted by CBS. With its 815mm seat height, 120kg kerb weight, and 190mm ground clearance, the bike should be easy to manage in daily city riding while also handling speed breakers and rough roads comfortably.

The Revolt RVX may not look drastically different from the RV400, but the updates make it a more practical electric motorcycle. The improved range, the new Boost mode, and the additional convenience features make it a better everyday commuter. The lack of ABS is a bit disappointing, but considering its introductory pricing, the RVX still offers good value for money. At its price, it rivals the Ola Roadster and the Oben Rorr Evo.
