The flat-track-inspired Triumph bike has finally arrived in India
Triumph has launched the Tracker 400 in India, expanding its entry-level 400 lineup further in addition to the other 350cc bikes that were launched today.
How Much Does It Cost?
The Tracker 400 has been priced at Rs 2,46,225 (ex-showroom), placing it right between the Speed 400 (Rs 2,31,890) and Triumph Scrambler 400 X (Rs 2,59,241). It is offered in 3 colours: Aluminium Silver Gloss, Racing Yellow, and Phantom Black - all priced the same.
What is it?
A flat-track inspired bike based on Triumph's 400 platform
It gets a slim fuel tank with knee recesses, a flat single-piece seat, compact tail section, and number-board-style side panels
Wider and flatter handlebar adds to its aggressive stance and slightly sportier riding posture
Shares its engine tune with the Triumph Thruxton 400, making slightly more power than other 350cc Triumphs

Engine Talk
The Triumph Tracker 400 is powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder engine derived from the older 398cc motor. What makes it stand out is its engine tuning. Like the version sold abroad, the Tracker shares its engine tune with the Thruxton 400. This should translate to a stronger top-end performance compared to the other 350cc Triumphs.

Our Take - Who Should Consider It?
The Tracker stands out in Triumph's new 350cc lineup with its flat-track inspired styling, and also by offering a slightly more powerful tune than the other 350cc Triumph 400s. It adds a distinct character to the range. It should appeal to riders who want something more unique and sportier. As always, its real-world appeal will depend on how it differentiates itself from the rest of the lineup.
